Last week, we met up with Ivo Jeramaz of Napa Valley’s Grgich Hills Estate in Violet’s Vineyard to discuss how the 2022 growing season is going. The vineyard – just north of Yountville – is unique in that it has some of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Napa Valley (over 60 years old!).

Ivo gives us a great update in how the early season rain this year has set parts of the valley up for the potential of higher yields than the last few years.
