In the past 2 weeks, we’ve gone from “green fuzzies” to popped buds all over the valley. Last Thursday, we went up to Henry Ranch in Pope Valley (in the far eastern side of Napa Valley) to take a look at 50+ year old Chenin Blanc vines with Shaina Harding of Gaderian Wines! And we found budbreak!

 

So this kicks off our tracking of the 2022 vintage! We’ll be trying to release a video every few weeks and invite you to follow along here on the blog for weekly updates from winemakers around Napa Valley!
