At this point, almost all grapes are picked in Napa Valley. There are a few small cooler areas where grapes are still hanging, but not much at all. Grapes that were picked 6 weeks ago are already in barrel in some cases, and just like that, the #2021vintage is in. Overall feeling: lower yields in most, but not all, cases, but great beginnings for taste and complexity. We are excited to see how these wines taste as they come to market.
