Hennessey Fire in the Eastern Hills of Napa Valley

Our firefighters are once again proving to be #heroes.

As many of you have heard, on Monday morning, a lightning strike in the eastern hills of Napa Valley started a #wildfire now known as the #HennesseyFire. We are encouraged by the overnight developments that the growth of the fire has slowed and the fire is moving away from #PritchardHill.

There are a handful of wineries in the #SageCanyon area that have been evacuated but all seem optimistic that fire crews are working hard to protect their properties and have set up defensible space.

As usual, the team at CAL FIRE and the community (seen here are 2 members of the Angwin Volunteer Fire Department in the thick of it, the photo is theirs) of #NapaValley have come together to make sure people, property and animals are safe and out of harm’s way. We’re thankful to the hardworking firefighters for their amazing work.
