At this point, almost all grapes are picked in Napa Valley. There are a few small cooler areas where grapes are still hanging, but not much at all. We asked Patrick Saboe, Director of Winemaking at The Wine Foundry in Napa Valley, how the 2021 wines are looking as they come into the winery. All in all, the growing season, other than a lack of water, in Napa Valley was pretty mild and the result is really good fruit coming into the wineries!
