As we ended 2022, the rains came down in buckets here in Napa Valley. At some point leading up to the new year, Napa (the city) got 2 inches of rain in under 6 hours. And, as we post this, more rain (a dangerous storm) is expected to arrive tomorrow. Some of the mountain areas have seen well over 10 inches of rain in the last month. This is all leading to an immediate worry about landslides, but a long-term hope that this will ease our drought come summer.
